Build your steel, get the price
Posts, stair stringers, beams, lintels and landings — built to your dimensions, drawn to scale and priced on the spot. Your one-stop-shop for all your industrial needs.
The post
Height is the finished overall height, plates included — we cut the tube short by the plate thicknesses so the part comes out at the height you asked for.
Plates
Holes sit 35 mm in from the plate edge, so plate = hole centres + 70. Change either and the other follows — the drawing, the 3D and the cut files follow both. Pick the hole size for each plate below (cap plate and base plate can differ).

Cleats on the column
Cleats are welded flat to the face of the column, first one to the front then working around, at the height above. Top plate thickness applies.
The stair
Stringers
Stringers only — treads are by others. Steel treads can be quoted on request (tick the box); we don’t supply timber or grate treads.

Stair stringer chart
Standard rise 175 and going 250 (rise 115–190, going 240–355; slope rule 2 × rise + going = 600). Click a row to set that flight; the highlighted row is what you have now.

Custom steel from your drawings
Anything not on the standard list — balustrade, frames, brackets, structural steel, a whole job. Add your drawings, PDFs, DXFs or a photo of a hand sketch under Got a sketch, drawing or photo? below, tell us what it is, and hit Request a price. We do the take-off from your drawings, produce our shop drawings and cut files, and come back with the price and anything we couldn’t work out.
The landing
Made to suit — frame welded up square, cross members set out evenly. Tell us where it lands (stringers, wall, posts) in a sketch below.
The beam
Cleats on the beam
10 mm fin plates welded to the web, standing square to the beam and alternating sides — your joists and purlins bolt straight to them. Size is how far they stand out × how high; holes 35 mm in from the free edge. Tell us the exact set-out in a sketch below or we’ll set them out to suit.
How it’s made up
We confirm the lead time when we come back with the firm quote — the date helps us book the workshop.
Hand sketch, site photo, PDF drawing — anything that shows what you need. You can mark it up here before it goes to the team with your build.
Your enquiry comes straight to the team with the fabrication drawing and the DXF cut files for every plate, and we’ll come back with a firm quote. Indicative, ex GST, ex delivery, held 14 days. Structural sizing remains the customer’s or their engineer’s responsibility.
